Mission Statement
Ciona Taylor Productions is dedicated to providing the very best in entertainment by creating original programs in dance, theatre, television, film, and performance art. It is through the creation of these works that employment and performance opportunities are created, that we educate and invigorate audiences, and that we are able to strengthen the community.
Support of classical and modern plays, new playwrights, new directors, artists looking to grow artistically, and freeing the individual artistic voice is the fuel that burns the fire of our amazing team. As artists, we are dedicated to the arts and the artistic future of our community.
Company Overview
Ciona Taylor, LLC. dba Ciona Taylor Productions, is a registered Limited Liability Corporation with the state of New York. Ciona Taylor Productions receives fiscal sponsorship from Live Arts (formerly known as Dance Theater Workshop)*.
Ciona Taylor Productions was founded in 2006 by Reagan A. Wilson. As an artist with experience in television, film, dance, and theater, she found the arts community was divided: there were those who knew how to make a show happen but did not care about the artistic integrity of the work the produced; there were the others who knew nothing about how to make a show happen but had an artistic vision that they wanted to share with others. The company was founded to give artist an opportunity to let their artistic voice be heard.
*Ciona Taylor Productions is a fiscally sponsored member of New York Live Arts, Inc., a non-profit tax-exempt organization. Contributions in support of Broadway’s Bedside Manner are greatly appreciated and may be made payable to New York Live Arts, Inc., earmarked for “the New York Live Arts member project of Ciona Taylor Productions.” A description of the work and current project activities for which such contributions will be used are available from Ciona Taylor Productions or New York Live Arts, upon request. All contributions are fully deductible to the extent allowed by law.
